Mullenix & Associates has welcomed Tucker Brackins, staff attorney, to its team. The firm’s members now include one former legislator and three lawyers.

 

“Tucker has a sharp legal mind with a strong background in government relations and regulatory matters,” said co-founder Ted Mullenix. “He has the knowledge and experience needed to bolster our team’s efforts as we advocate for our clients at the capitol.”

 

A Searcy native, Brackins received his law degree from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock William H. Bowen School of Law, where he graduated magna cum laude and served as associate editor of the UA Little Rock Law Review. He holds a bachelor’s degree from Baylor University.

 

Mullenix & Associates’ principals include Ted Mullenix, Julie Mullenix and Austin Grinder. Ted Mullenix served 16 years in the Arkansas State Legislature, including four terms as House Minority Leader. As licensed attorneys, Julie and Austin represent clients on both legislative and regulatory issues. All three provide government relations consulting and lobby the legislature.  In total, the firm boasts a combined more than 70 years of experience with state legislative, policy and regulatory issues.
